Over the past few years, many school children were involved in serious
accidents. Some even lost their lives.
To avoid further accidents, the West Demerara Lions club has assisted with the road safety project.
On Sunday last, the club painted two pedestrian crossings in front the Leonora Primary School and the ITC Primary School in Meten-Meer-Zorg.
Also, the club has donated clothing to the family that lost all of their life’s earnings in a recent fire.
To date, the West Demerara Lions Club has been assisting the needy and has been trying to improve the country.
