Dear Editor,
I am a Guyanese very concerned and frustrated about my country’s welfare.
Every time around elections in this country, it becomes a place of chaos, strife and racial corruption.
The leaders from the various parties on the political platform create this type of behavior from arrogance in which they speak. I, for one, am tired of this empty skull behavior. Why should they speak strife?
Each party leader, whether it is PPP/C, APNU, AFC or any other, are all talking garbage. This is not the time to bring up the past. It’s time to tell the people what you will do for them in the future, should you become the next President.
I have heard enough criticisms from the leaders. It disgusts me. Personally, I feel like leaving the country every time there is an election.
It’s time we ask for wisdom, like King Solomon, from the creator if we want to rule. The politicians tell themselves that they are gods. They may be gods for some who will worship man but not for the wise.
Politicians must attempt to improve the country by creating jobs for people, young and old, raising workers salaries every year and cutting the unnecessary blackouts.
Now, in the days of Jagdeo, there is more food and no money to buy it. The poor far outnumber the rich and the gap is widening even more.
Why then do we celebrate Emancipation Day in August? What are we really free from? What about pensioners who are taxpayers and have been their dues because they are in a foreign country on vacation?
How can a President get $3M per month as a pension when he has everything including a big house? This is unfair to taxpayers. Let’s stop the manipulation. People of Guyana, wake up and smell the coffee.
Concerned
Listen to the man that is throwing Guyanese bright future away
