President Jagdeo and NBS Directors must comment
Dear Sir,
I would like to commend the Guyana Government for reinstating Ms. Sita Ramlall after the magistrate dismissed her case and also, paying her during the period she was charged.
There are many other cases where during a charge or investigation, the persons are paid including for Nirmal Rekha and others too numerous to mention.
But I am puzzled that while the magistrates also dismissed the case against the CEO and two managers of NBS and the Guyana Human Rights also confirmed that the Board knew of the men’s innocence from the inception, that: 1) these men were never paid during the charge; 2) after 4 1/2 years they still have not been paid not even pension due to them; 3) they have not been reinstated.
Can the Directors of NBS and our President please comment on these double standards.
