Two lucky contestants walked away with one household hamper and flat screen
television set after the fourth drawing of the Ansa McAl’s ARIEL Clean Sweep- win a CAR not a cart, promotion yesterday.
The draw took place at the Bounty Centre, Grove East Bank Demerara.
The first winner, Davika Persaud, from Craig Village received a ‘well packed’ hamper. The other winner, Latoya Payne, from Wismar, Linden was not present, however a representative was there to accept her prize. She won one flat screen television set.
After the prizes were handed over to the respected winners, customers in the shopping centre helped pull the next four winners for the fifth drawing.
They were Sheldon Griffith, of 2J88 Kaikan Street, North Ruimveldt; and Norma Yearwood, of 176 De Abreu Street, Newtown. They will receive “Ariel Household Hampers”.
The last two winners were Barbara Vaz Elliot, of “Y” Hardina Street, and Marlon Holder of Lot 5 Norton Street, Lodge.
The promotion was launched on September 8, last. The first drawing was held at Guyexpo, Sophia.
The second drawing was done at Bounty, Water Street, and the third was at Spready’s, Port Mourant, Berbice.
The final draw will be on December 2, 2011 where, two more LCD 32″ flat screen
televisions and two Ariel Household hampers and the grand prize of a Toyota Allion will be up for grabs.
So far eight persons have won flats screen television sets and eight have won hampers.
Those winners that collected prizes were from entries that were pulled in Berbice.
Public Relations Officer for the company, Darshanie Yussuf, yesterday encouraged shoppers to continue buying “ariel soap powder” to increase their chances.
Yussuf said that persons can look forward to “bigger” things from Ansa McAl, in the near future.
