Two Friends beat Ann’s Grove Seniors 3-1 to capture one East Coast zone title, while Round da Road defeated Hilltop on penalties 2-1 in the final of the Timehri zone as the Government of Guyana sponsored Inter-Block seven-a-side 15-minute Football competition continued last weekend.
Kevon ‘Sacki’ Barry scored in the 5th and 23rd minutes, while Carlton Jerrick (20th) ensured Two- Friends emerged victorious in their zone Final, while Andy Higgins and Dellon Johnson were the goal scorers in the Timehri zone Final.
In the preliminary round matches in the East Coast zone, Ann’s Grove Seniors got past Ann’s Grove Kraft 1-nil with Charles Gevon finding the back of the net in 20th minute.
Two Friends defeated Punters 4-nil with the goal scorers being Kevon ‘Sacki’ Barry (10th and 25th minutes) and Oswald ‘Boil Corn’ Duke18 and 28th minutes.

Block B, Backdam (5) beat Block B (3) on Penalty Shoot-out after both teams played to a two-all draw after regulation time.
Block A (3) beat Side-line Dam (2) on Penalty shootout after both teams played to a two-all draw after regulation time. The BV Final is scheduled for today at the BV Ground from 16:30hrs.

Show Ideals (2) beat Backstreet Boys (1) Goals Scored for Show Ideal by: Mark Yarris in the 12th Minute, Paul Jacintho in the 29th Minute; Goal scored for Backstreet by: Cordel Johnson.
Show Ideals (3) beat Lucky 7 (1) Goal Scored for Lucky 7 by: Ryon Scott in the 18th Minute.
Goals Scored for Show Ideals by: Rakesh Harinauth in the 9th and 13th minute, Paul Jacintho in the 28th Minute.
TIMEHRI
Round da Road defeated Ice house road 3-2 on penalties in the semi-finals. The goal scorers for the winning team were Dellon Johnson, Andy Higgins, Dorwin Bennett. Samuel Steel and Linden Williams found the back of the nets for the losers.
In the finals: Hilltop got the bye and was defeated by Round da Road on penalties 2-1 Round da road goal scorers were Andy Higgins and Dellon Johnson.
SOESDYKE

GROVE
Grove Back Street defeated Diamond United 2-1
Goal Scorers for Backstreet were Shermon Doris and John Matthews, while Devon Watson scored for Diamond.
Grove North gained a walk over from Samatta Point.
Grove Backstreet defeated grove north by 3-0 with John Matthews, Shermon Doris and Orwin Hunte netting goals.
Meanwhile, Parliamentary Secretary Steve Ninvalle yesterday handed over footballs and trophies to representatives of the West bank Demerara zone at his office. Ninvalle made the presentation to Adrian Giddings in the presence of officials and players.
