Last weekend at the East Ruimveldt Tarmac action in the Guinness Greatest of the Street football tournament sponsored by Banks DIH under the Guinness brand continued with several match up with Linden side Eagles recording an impressive victory.
Eagles outplayed Buxton 5-1 with goals coming from Trenton Lashley 4th min, Dellon Charter 6th and 9th min, Akemi Edwards 7th min and Colin David 11th min for the winners, while for Buxton Rudy Thomas 8th min made the lone response.
In other results: Retrieve of Linden drew with Laing Avenue 2-2. For Retrieve Ryan Noel 5th min and Defence Error (Own Goal) 7th min, while for Laing Avenue – Jovan McKenzie Nigel 3rd min and Wesley Trevor 6th min.
Lodge Housing Scheme edged Festival City 2-1. For Lodge Housing Scheme – Aubrey Clarke 6th min and Pernell Schultz 7th min were on target, while Festival City Odell Williams 8th min was on target.
Stevedore Housing Scheme were edged by Queen Street, Tiger Bay 0-1 with Godfrey Power 9th min sealing the game.
Back Circle overwhelmed Plaisance 4-0. Andy Duke 5th min, Dexter Bentick 7th min, Daniel Favorite 11th and 13th min were the marksmen.
West Back Road beat Castillo Housing Scheme 4-1. For the winners Gerald Tyrill 7th min, Adrian Fitzpatrick with a hat-trick 10th,13th and 17th min led the winners, while for Castillo Housing Scheme Shermon Anthony 3rd min replied.
East Front Road got past Hope Street, Tiger Bay 3-1 with Shakka Jones 2nd and 9th min and Vasil Cansillar 10th min scoring for the winners, while for Hope Street Stephon Green 13th min made the lone response.
And West front Road, Gold Is Money defeated North East LaPenitence 3-0. Hubert Pedro 7th and 12th min and Ola Pedro 4th min were on the money for their team.
