Bids for seven contracts by the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), and valued more than $200M for critical supplies and services, were opened yesterday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, Ministry of Finance.
The contracts included procurement of laboratory supplies, stationery, drinking water, pampers and dietary and cleaning supplies.
Four businesses submitted bids for the supply of laboratory items. The bids opened were:

Only one bid came in from the International Pharmaceutical Agency (IPA) for the supply of purified drinking water and this was to the tune of $3,410,400.
