Mala said that she was in her kitchen when she heard her son, Sohan, shouting at the driver of the vehicle, “Hey you hit down my grandpa.”
Mala said Sohan was purchasing bread when he incidentally looked up the road and noticed the back wheels of the truck squeezing his grandpa.
Sookra was described as quiet and peaceful.
The driver of the truck, John Walcott, before being detained, assisted in transporting Sookra to the Suddie Public Hospital.
