Player played with 2 teams using different names
The zero tolerance on any form of dishonesty perpetrated by teams have once again been dealt with sternly by the organisers of the GT&T FastBall knockout football tournament which has reached the round-of-16 stage.
Reggae Boyz, a city based team is the latest team to be kicked out of the tournament as a result of player dishonesty.
In this case, the player in question – Urvin Johnson – played with Topp XX B which lost on July 6th then played with Reggae Boyz on the 18th, 20th and 29th of July when time finally caught up with him to the detriment of Reggae Boyz which won their round-of-32 game against Adam’s Rockers 2-1 on Friday last.
Johnson registered under the name Giovanni Benjamin with Reggae Boyz.
