Joel Ali, Devon Cornette and Dudley Rampersaud, who were allegedly involved in an armed robbery committed in Alexander Village, were yesterday remanded to prison. They were charged indictably and were not required to plead.
The trio made their appearance before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The charge states that on July 24, last, at Alexander Village, armed with a gun and acting together, they allegedly robbed Mark Rambarose of one Coral cell phone, one packet of cigarettes, two keys and one bottle of Banko wine worth $5460.
The Prosecution objected to bail.
The three accused are expected to make their next court appearance on October 14.
