All speculations have been put to rest by a post mortem examination performed on the remains of Natasha Glen who was pulled from the Lamaha Conservancy on Sunday last.
A close relative told this publication that the post mortem revealed that the woman died as a result of asphyxiation due to drowning. Her remains have since been handed over to relatives for burial.
These relatives now say that they are more at ease now that foul play has been ruled out.
Last Sunday, the 36-year-old mother of three went to the Lamaha Conservancy called ‘The Blacka’ for a swim with two friends— a man and a woman.
Some time around 17:00 hours while the trio was in the water someone discovered that Glen was missing. The two friends with the assistance of others began a frantic search for the woman. Her body was fished out of the Conservancy a few minutes later.
When the body was pulled from the Conservancy it bore several marks to the face. These marks were reportedly caused by fish.
