Tired of Harry Gill’s biased writings

Dear Editor,
Mr. Editor I have grown weary reading the biased writing of one Mr. Harry Gill. But when I read his reckless articles, I consider what my brother said to me a few years ago “Haters wanna play hard. I won’t pretend to be mad. I’ll just disregard you like my memory’s bad”.
Mr. Editor, on May 2, 2011, in Kaieteur News under the caption “I have been judging the President a bit too harshly” Mr. Gill is quoted as saying “After listening to addresses by both Mr. Ramotar and President Jagdeo on the infrastructural development taking place in Guyana, I had to agree that most of what was said is consistent with what I have seen throughout my travels to various regions of Guyana both last year and again during March of this year.”
He went on to say “I have no loyalty to anyone or to any political party or organisation, and I’m too independent to have my values compromised. My only agenda is to foster our nation’s well-being and fight for equal opportunity for all.
“It is never easy to admit one’s mistakes, but I am man enough to say that I have been judging the President a bit too harshly.
For with all his faults, Guyana has made steady progress under President Jagdeo, and I firmly believe this progress will intensify and blossom into something much more beautiful under the leadership of Donald Ramotar if elected”
I want to tell Mr. Gill that if that is so he should give up his US citizenship and come and live in Guyana.  Please understand sir, I was born in 1985 and in 1992 I was seven so I have no recollection of the PNC in Government but I know of the PPPC and the disturbance that this regime bought on this nation.
Mr. Gill sorry to say but I know about mismanagement, I know about the milk scam, the gold scam, the law books scam, the re-migrant duty-free-vehicle scam, the Cane Grove Conservancy Dam scam, the IAST scam, the wildlife scam, the export of dolphin scam, the Polar Beer scam, the GuySuco disaster, just to name a few.
Mr. Gill, I know about the incomparable levels of corruption and the blatant lack of accountability by the Jagdeo Administration that is demonstrated by all the scams listed.
Yesterday Mr. Gill continued with his oratory and this time attacking the move by the JOPP but what he fails to realize is that what he says does not matter because the Guyanese public and more the youths of this country, have accepted this move and are rallying with the coalition.
Mr. Gill can you just start shaping your rhetoric in order and stop being an armchair Politician?
