Dear Editor,
Please allow me to share my views with the Veterans and the Guyanese people, after having served the GDF for 23 years and 109 days under the previous Government (PNCR).
Gaining cheap popularity by the opposition parties at this time does not seem right to me at present, after all the things they have done to the Guyanese population.
I am sure the PNCR candidate David Granger can remember the then Prime Minister, L. F. S. Burnham when he promised a nice package also to the soldiers on retiring from the military. That package was 25 acres of land. After retiring 22 years ago I am still waiting for that wonderful package.
There are many more questions that I need answers to, I will prefer to let it rest for now.
This one is for the President of the Republic of Guyana or the new presidential candidate of the PPP: Why during the election period 1965 to 1992 there was no representatives from the PPP, when the military are casting their votes? Finally no opposition parties can beat the PPP at the coming election.
