Dear Editor,
Donald Ramotar is known to behave in a highly irresponsible manner over the years. The mismanagement of Guysuco must be the sole responsibility of the Board of Directors. The buck stops with them.
The fact that he allowed the Chief Executive of GUYSUCO to announce that they are contemplating the de-recognition of the main sugar Union, GAWU, the backbone of the PPP, exposes his disloyalty – not only to sugar workers or farmers and the rest of working people.
Ramotar, as a Director of Guysuco said nothing in favour of the workers. He is now part of the ruling elite, which he now leads into the next election.
Every effort must be deployed to stop the return of misrule and mismanagement.
Mike Rahman
