Is only when people got things fuh hide that dem does duck and when dem get ketch dem does react violently. Kwame is a poor boy who use to wuk fuh de city council and beg fuh a raise to buy food.
Now he building a big house. Dem boys want know how suh dem decide to tek a picture of de house. Benschop go after dem and was blows like rain. He run and he lost he shoes. He also find that de police got a bias fuh Kwame because dem put he at de wrang station. Dem boys seh that when Kwame shoulda go to La Penitence wheh dem does keep women, de police put he at Diamond.
But de police do more that that. Dem send home Kwame and dem lock up Benschop. Now dem boys know that if Bharrat only seh that dem don’t have discrimination again lightning would strike.
Kwame deh in he bed although he bruck up Benschop vehicle and beat up de man. But Benschop ain’t do nutten and he in de lock ups because one woman (well not a real one) lie pun he. Police locking up people pun allegation and releasing criminals.
That is why dem boys seh that de police never lock up anybody in de government. People does thief and nutten don’t happen but is dem who don’t do nutten does get lock up or dismiss from dem job.
Dem boys seh that Guyana is topsy turvy country suh wrang is right and right is abnormal.
Dem boys seh that when de police don’t do nutten against criminals de Americans does act. Dem had to act against Kwame already.
But is poor Benschop got problems. He got to replace all dem windows pun he vehicle. If he did break Kwame own, he would been in jail till h e get old and grey.
Talk half. Lef half.
