Several schools will continue their quest for dominance when the National Inter-Secondary Schools’ 2011 Futsal Football tournament continues at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue this afternoon.
The competition continues tomorrow with several more exciting duels at the same venue.
In this afternoon’s matches St Winifred takes on Imperial College; Queen’s College opposes St Roses; Community College versus North Ruimveldt; Lodge versus Trust College; East Ruimveldt versus Christ Church; Freeburg versus Queenstown; Tucville versus Dolphins and Tutorial versus Richard Ishmael. Matches continue tomorrow afternoon with St Roses tackling Caramel shortly before Queen’s College take on Saint Stanislaus.
Bishops will then face off with Lodge Community High before Trust College and North Georgetown take to the field.
Other matches include. Business School versus South Ruimveldt; Richard Ishmael versus Tucville Secondary; Campbellville versus Charlestown; Business School versus South Ruimveldt; Richard Ishmael versus Tucville Secondary; St Georges versus St Mary’s; Community College versus Kingston and Imperial College versus St Winifred.
Meanwhile, the organizers wish to remind participants and spectators that the Gymnasium is a no weapons zone and entrants would be subjected to a body search before passing the gate.
Patrons are also asked to secure their cycles to minimize instances of theft.
