Eastern Wakenaam are GSCPG domino champs
Eastern Wakenaam emerged champions of the Good Success Community Policing Group domino competition played recently at Amit Ramnarine’s residence, Good Success, Wakenaam.
Egbert Johnson marked 17 games for the winners and was supported by Erick Lake who scored 15 and Maurice Retemiah 14.
Underdog came second with 79 games; Ganeshram Narine and Seeraj Harnarine scoring 14 each and Anand Dhanyshure 12. Tom Singh chalked up 16 for Cool Runnings who placed third with 66 games.
Eastern Wakenaam received the winning trophy which was donated by Mikey’s Speed Boat Service, while Underdog collected the runner-up prize donated by Nazir and Sons. Cool Runnings took the Moses Ramnarine trophy for their efforts. Egbert Johnson was given the most valuable player award.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, chairman of Good Success Community Policing Group, Moses Ramnarine, congratulated the winning team while Secretary Nazeer Mohamed thanked the participating teams and encouraged other Policing Groups to organise sporting activities.
