Barbadian Roger Mayers in his Ford Focus grabbed pole position for today’s Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship, at the South Dakota Circuit.
Mayers scorched the field to record the fastest time and will have next to him in the front row Guyana’s Andrew King, while Kevin Jeffrey, who lies second in the points standing will be in the next row.
Reigning champion Jamaican David Summerbell Jnr is way down the line and is anticipated to have some difficulty weaving his way to the front row.
The Superbikes were unable to participate in qualifying sessions due to the wet track that the officials deemed too dangerous for the riders.
Jamaican Doug Gore will be absent due to an urgent family commitment that he had to attend to.
March Past of competitors will be done at 09:00 hrs
