St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board announces the umpires for the Digicel Series involving West Indies A and Pakistan A to take place this month in Antigua, Grenada and St Vincent.
Guyanese umpire, Nigel Duguid will officiate in four matches during this tour. The Guyanese who has been outstanding to date, has been rewarded for his impressive showing in regional action.
The Umpire appointments are:
Antigua
Nov 5: West Indies A v Pakistan A – First Digicel T20 Match – Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds (6:30pm) – Umpires: Joel Wilson & Gregory Brathwaite (Clancy Mack – Standby)
Nov 6: West Indies A v Pakistan A – Second Digicel T20 Match – Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds (6:30pm) – Umpires: Joel Wilson & Gregory Brathwaite (Clancy Mack – Standby)
Grenada
Nov 9: West Indies A v Pakistan A – First Digicel One Day Match – Grenada National Stadium (9am) – Umpires: Peter Nero & Nigel Duguid (Standby TBA)
Nov 11: West Indies A v Pakistan A – Second Digicel One Day Match – Progress Park (9am) – Umpires: Peter Nero & Nigel Duguid (Standby TBA)
Nov 14: West Indies A v Pakistan A – Third Digicel One Day Match – Progress Park* (9am) – Umpires: Peter Nero & Nigel Duguid (Standby TBA)
St Vincent & The Grenadines
Nov 18 to 21: West Indies A v Pakistan A – First Digicel ‘Test’ – Arnos Vale Sports Complex (9:30am) – Umpires: Peter Nero & Nigel Duguid (Goland Greaves – Standby)
Nov 24 to 27: West Indies A v Pakistan A – Second Digicel ‘Test’ – Arnos Vale Sports Complex (9:30am) – Umpires: Joel Wilson & Gregory Brathwaite (Goland Greaves – Standby)
*Note that the Third Digicel One Day match has been switched from the Grenada National Stadium to Progress Park.
