The Rockaway Auto Sales in collaboration the East Coast Cricket Board have launched two Cricket leagues on the East Coast of Demerara – a Premier league and Super league. The East Coast Cricket Board consists of forty-four teams. The eight top teams will be in the Premier league and the other 36 will form the Super league.
At the conclusion of the competitions, a decision would be made as to the elevation of teams from the Super league to the Premier league and simultaneously moving down of teams from the Premier league to the Super league so as to keep a very high standard intact – this would be done based on the teams performance.
