Following hot on the heels of the recently concluded Tradewind Tankers Volleyball Tournament, the Berbice Association has organised a nationwide one-day competition which is slated for October 23 at the Port Mourant Training Centre, starting from 09:30 hrs.
The tournament will be held in collaboration with the Guyana Volleyball Federation and according to organiser Levi Nedd ten of the top teams in the country will compete for a first prize of $20,000 plus a trophy, while the runner-up takes home $10,000 and trophy, third and fourth places will receive trophies.
There will also be prizes for the Best Setter, Spiker, Blocker and Defender.

Teams will be asked to enrol on the same day for a 2-player Beach Tournament at #63 Beach, Corentyne.
The date for the staging of this event will be announced later.
