Dear Editor,
I’ve noticed several attacks in the press directed at the DPP and its office, most of which are related to her advice on the “pink suitcase” and are aimed at discrediting her and the DPP’s chambers.
I wish to state categorically that the advice of the DPP on this matter is legally and morally correct.
This advice has disrupted the smooth flow of ‘exporting’ narcotics through CJIA.
Smuggling drugs through CJIA has brought severe embarrassment and discomfort to Guyanese travelers.
The outcome of the current high court matter should confirm the length of those drug dealers’ tentacles.
Once again congratulations to the DPP and her staff for this advice.
