Second annual Ocean View Hotel floodlight tournament to be staged

The Ocean View Hotel at Better Hope and Banks DIH will be sponsoring their second Annual Softball cricket tournament under floodlights and domino competition, which is organized by the Guyana Softball League.
Some of the best teams in the country have already signed up for the cricket tournament. The exciting prizes include a 1st prize – $200,000; 2nd prize – $50,000; 3rd prize – $30,000 and the fourth prize – one ram sheep.
In the domino the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport have donated several trophies; Cash incentives will also be awarded during this tournament. There will be lots to eat and drink as BBQ will also be on sale.

Teams that have already entered include present Countrywide Champions 15/15 Rangers Sports Club; 10/10 Champions Trophy Stall XI; Crabwood Creek Champions # 53 All Stars; West Bank 10/10 zone finalist – Good Intent CPG; East Bank Zone 10/10 semi – finalist – Airports XI.
Teams are urged to enter as there are only limited places on hand. The Drawing will be held tomorrow Sunday April 25 at 11:00 am.
