The Caribbean Dominoes Social Organization of London (CDSO) tallied 66 games to occupy the second place while Caribbean Dominoes Association of the USA (CDA) ended in the cellar with 53 games. Patrick Sam marked 18 games, the most for the local team, and carted off the spoils in that department.

The trend continued into the 5th round when the local team won 75 games among them. CDSO won 60, while the CDA could only manage 45. With the scales tipped heavily in their direction to win the championships, the local players dug in and ended the session with a whooping 93 games. Their closest rival, CDSO scored 27 games less while the CDA chalked up 53 games.
The tournament that got underway on March 26 last and concluded last evening saw Guyana fielding a strong nine-member team captained by Godfrey Samuels with Ms. Gwen McGowan as. Wendell McPherson was the assistant to McGowan.
Meanwhile, affiliates of the local association will convene tomorrow evening at the Spot 7 Sports Club for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) starting at 19:00hrs. High on the agenda is the election of office bearers for 2010/11.
The Federation would also review the 2009 programme as well as to formally adopt the itinerary for the fiscal year. Executives would further discuss Guyana’s participation in the World Council tournament scheduled for St Lucia in October this year. All teams are asked to send at least two representatives to the meeting.
