Yesterday, a seven-year-old student from East La Penitence Primary School was attacked by a dog and severely bitten about the body.
According to a teacher, a passing driver who carried him to his school found the child who was apparently skipping school, in the vicinity of North East La Penitence. The teacher then joined the car to carry the boy to the Health Centre on Vlissengen Road.
According to sources the boy was bitten on his arms, legs, lips and abdomen.
At the Centre the nurses were not willing to speak about the incident, and were awaiting the parents of the child.
