Pensioner dies after being dragged by minibus

Victorine Barrows, 81, of Roxanne Burnham Gardens, was pronounced dead after she was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corperation (GPHC) yesterday.
According to sources, minibus BMM 2018 at the Linden Bus Park “hooked the turn” and hit Victorine Barrows and dragged her for approximately 30 feet before she was detached. She was later taken to the GPHC.
According to her son, Oswald, his mother was a wonderful woman. He said that he was supposed to meet her this weekend to assist her with some household arrangements.
According to sources, the driver, Terrence Ramjohn, is in police custody and is likely to be charged soon.
