Players called to trials for Punte Del Este Sevens Tournament
The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has called to trials a 15-man squad in preparation for the Punte Del Este International Seven-a-Side Tournament scheduled to take place in Uruguay on January 3-4, 2010.
According to a release from the Union, the first trial game will take place today, at the National Park, starting from 15:00 hrs, while regular training continues next week Monday – Friday.
Sessions are being conducted by Coach Laurence Adonis, who is being assisted by Clinton Clarke.

Meanwhile, most of the players are also preparing to represent Guyana at the upcoming IRB World Sevens Series which will be held from February 14-15 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
