Sunburst Camptown, Pele, Fruta Conquerors and Santos are the latest winners in the DeSinco Trading sponsored Georgetown Football Association Under-19 tournament which continued on the weekend.
Home team Camptown needled Riddim Squad through an Akeem Moore 15th minute goal while Pele got past Uprising 3-1, also at the Camptown ground, with Kerwin Benjamin in the 19th, Jermaine Sutton in the 36th and Godfrey Powers in the 67th minute the players on target for Pele.
Uprising’s consolation goal came off the boot of Clifford Bascom in the 27th minute.
Over at the Tucville ground, Conquerors pocketed full points without breaking a sweat, their opponents Black Pearl failing to make an appearance.
The lone game at that venue saw Santos coming back from a goal down to defeat Flamingo by the odd goal in three. Flamingo had taken the lead in the 18th minute via a Joel Phyll conversion but with ten minutes to game time, Santos finally found the goal scoring formula.
Linden Munroe hit the network in the 80th minute and with 3 minutes to full time Trison Brown sealed full points for Santos.
More games are slated for this weekend at both venues.
