– Seerja Construction Company Tournament resumes today
Results in the MCYS / NSC Male Windball Indoor Cricket Champions Trophy played, at the National Gymnasium.
GITC defeated Carmel by two wickets.
Carmel High made 72-5 with Gavin Charles 33 and Mark Rigby 11. Christopher Manarath took 3-5.
GITC in reply, reached 75-6 with Jamal Mc Allister 34 and Richard Williams 18. Gavin Charles picked up 2-13 and Brian Holmes 2-15.
L’Aventure beat Zeeburg by six wickets.
Zeeburg totalled 84-5 with Khanhaiya Ramliarran stroking 37 and Renaldo Choo 34. Tamesh Jagroop grabbed 4-8.
L’Aventure replied with 85-2. Safraz Esau hit a half-century, stroking an elegant 52, while Trak Persaud made 13 and Travis Cato 12. R Choo 1-17.
Lodge squeezed past David Rose by 4 runs.
Lodge High compiled 106-4 with Joseph Yasen 37, Daniel Wilson 25 and Akeem Simon 19, being the principal scorers. Jason Rooney took 2-12.
David Rose ended on 102-0, losing the game off the last ball. Quincy Gordon 43 and Akeem Williams 41 were the top-scorers.
GITC returned to register their second win in as many matches, this time against New Campbellville, beating them by five wickets.
New Campbellville scored 99-4. Charwayne McPherson made 44 and Ganesh Mohabir 21. Jamal Mc Allister captured 2-16.
GITC in reply, reached 104-3 with Devon Jordan 36, Stefano Macedo 15 and Christopher Manorath 15. C. McPherson 2-21.
Play continues today from 10:30 hrs.
Meanwhile action in the Seerja Construction Company AL Sport & Tour Promotions Primary School Boys & Girls Windball Cricket Champions Trophy resumes today from 09:30 hrs, at the Carifesta Sports Complex.
