Kaieteur Falls tragedy… Body spotted by search party

The body of 23-year-old Aliya Bulkan has reportedly been spotted in the basin (at the bottom) of the Kaieteur Falls. Just around 13:00 hours yesterday, a search party which has been scouring the area around the top of the falls sighted the remains.
A source close to that search party said that Bulkan’s body was seen with the use of a pair of binoculars.
“One of the men spotted the body in the basin at the bottom of the falls and just to be certain he showed the other members of the search party,” the source said.
