Rickford Leacock of Lot 19 George Street, Werk-en-Rust, is trying to locate his 46-year-old paramour, who has been missing since Monday.
Leacock said that Theresa Bowen, called Theresa Small or Debbie, disappeared around 10:00 hrs after leaving the family’s home.
According to Leacock, Bowen, who has four children, left home shortly after receiving a call from a sister who resides in the United States.
The daughter saw Bowen later that day in the vicinity of the Georgetown Post Office Corporation (GPOC).
At the time, she was wearing a brown top, denim trousers and a cream-coloured toque.
Relatives said she was carrying a bag which Leacock said contained her documents, including her passport and bank card.
Since then, they have been unable to reach Bowen on her mobile phone.
Leacock speculates that his companion might have travelled to Suriname or French Guiana. But a relative said that Bowen would always inform them of her whereabouts.
The relatives also said that, from all appearances, the woman did not walk with any extra clothing.
Leacock is asking anyone with information about
Bowen/Small’s whereabouts to contact him on telephone numbers 226-8603 or 610-8672.
