The 2nd Annual Day of Sports organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport (MCYS) will be held on Saturday, at the Kuru Kuru Training Centre.
Staff members from MCYS Georgetown locations will compete against their counterparts from Kuru Kuru in both male and female disciplines. The day’s event will see the teams battle each other in volleyball, cricket, circle tennis and football.
According to Programme Coordinator Patrice Stewart, the activities are designed to encourage staff involvement and participation in sports, while fostering better relationships among them.
