GFA tournaments continue this weekend
Chubby U-13 and Western Union Div. 1 League
Following a number of tough group engagements in the Chubby Under-13 league in the city over the past couple of weeks, the eight teams that have advanced to the knock-out stage will go head to head for places in the semi-finals.
At the Tucville ground from 08:30hrs today, Alpha United will face Sunburst Camptown with Santos opposing Georgetown Football Club simultaneously.
From 09:45hrs, the other two matches will see Thomas United tangling with Fruta Conquerors and Flamingo matching skills with Uprising. The respective winners will move on to the semis while the losers will have to focus attention on the next tournament.
Western Union Division One League
The final two preliminary round matches in this league are set for tomorrow at the Camptown ground in Campbellville.
From 14:00hrs Beacon will come up against Riddim Squad and two hours later, Santos will square off with Uprising.
