The ISKF-Guyana’s YMCA Dojo held it awards ceremony on Friday August 28, at the YMCA Thomas Lands.
In the short ceremony, Sensei Amir Khouri congratulated the students on their accomplishment which was due to the hard work/training they did.
Leah Shariff, Althia King, Ryan Amir, Bhoindra Prashad and Patrick Cheeks received their Sho Dan (1st Dan) Diplomas. They attained the 1st Degree Black belt ranks in October 2008.
Fifty nine students, ranging from yellow to brown belts, received certificates for grades attained at the Grading examination conducted on August 1, 2009, by Master Frank Woon-A-Tai.
