Bloomerz, St Ignatius claim respective male and female titles
Bloomerz females and St Ignatius males captured the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports Inter-Block Volleyball titles yesterday at St Ignatius following a weekend of intense action in Region 9.

The action commenced Friday last and was opened by Parliamentary Secretary within the sports ministry Steve Ninvalle. The round robin tournament saw the pair emerging as the top participants to claim the respective titles.
In the final, Bloomerz defeated St Ignatius 25-8, 25-14, 18-25, 23-25, 16-14, while in the male contest St Ignatius ensured they kept a share of the spoils beating Bloomerz 25-8, 25-22, 25-16.
