Donna Brown, of 202 Shell Road, Kitty, has been missing from her home for the past week. Reports reaching Kaieteur News state that Brown, who is the only child for her mother, frequently leaves her home, and usually returns a day later.
Her mother would speak to her on every occasion, but the daylong outings would still continue.
Stepfather of the missing girl, Rawl Watkins, related that the girl has been missing since last Tuesday. He also said that she left with her passport and birth certificate. At the time that Brown had asked her mother for the passport, the woman had no clue about her daughter’s plans. She believed what the girl told her; that she needed it for something for school.
According to the reports the teen left her home on the morning of August 4 and has not returned since.
Donna’s mother, Ruann Munroe, made reports to the police and took the story of her missing child to a local television station, which has assisted her as best it can. Unfortunately, so far Munroe has heard nothing of the whereabouts of her only child. Mr. Watkins has now decided to seek the assistance of the press all in an effort to find his missing stepdaughter.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 16-year-old Donna Brown is asked to make contact with the following people, or any near by police station. 695-5073 (Ruann Munroe) or 697-2627 (Rawl Watkins).
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
