Complete phase one of street lighting project
The Ann’s Grove Line Stars United Football Club is going beyond the field of play to ensure that the community enjoys the basic amenities they need to enhance their lives.
The club has recently completed one of its major community projects. In collaboration with the Ann’s Grove Relief Association (USA) Inc, they have finished phase one of the rehabilitation of street lighting for Dochfour, Ann’s Grove and Two Friends.
The Ann’s Grove Relief Association funded the project valued at $100,000.
The project was managed by Trevor Waterman, President of the Ann’s Grove Line Stars United Football Club. According to Waterman, phase two will see the installation of new lights where none was installed before. He has been promised by Mr. Clearance Rodrigues, President of the Ann’s Grove Relief Association that a yearly donation will be earmarked to maintain street lighting.
The Club is expected to receive funding for the development of the Ann’s Grove Community Centre of Excellence.
