GRPA Executive Director Frederick Cox passes away
Executive Director of the Guyana Responsible Parenthood Association (GRPA), Frederick Cox, passed away on Saturday after a brief illness.
Mr. Cox had held the position of GRPA Executive Director for several years.
An advocate in the fight against domestic violence, he was also a member of the non-profit organisation, Men of Purpose, which was established in 2004 to heighten men’s awareness of the importance of developing non-violent relationships.
In addition, Mr. Cox was Chairperson for the National Commission on the Family, a member of the National Forum on Women, a member of the National Task Force on Domestic Violence, and a member of the Brotherhood of St Andrew.
