After complaining of chest pains on Thursday, a man ventured out of his 126 Fifth Street, Alberttown home, collapsed and died on the road.
Dead is Edgar Myers. His grand daughter, Nicasey Myers, said that Myers had reported feeling pains in his chest. “We asked he if he ain’t want to go to the hospital and he said he was alright.”
She said at about 16:30hrs, he left home to go across the road.
“A li’l boy come and say how grandfather fall down on the road. When we go we see he there and we try to wake he up but he ain’t respond and when we take he to the hospital they say he dead.”
No one in his family knew his age but said he was in his 70s.
