An unlicensed 20-gauge shotgun and a matching round were discovered in Aruka River, in the North West District, on April 1, 2009. At approximately 16:00 hours, police ranks observed a man acting in a suspicious manner. As the ranks approached him, they saw him place an object under a bridge. After searching the area, the police found the unlicensed firearm. After discovering the shotgun, the police searched the man and discovered the matching round on his person.
The man has been taken into police custody.
