Consistent middle order batsman Royston Crandon returns to the national squad for Guyana’s next WICB regional four-day game against the Leeward Islands from Friday at the Albion.
The 25-year-old Crandon, who has scored four fifties from his 12 first-class matches at an average of 23.71, missed the last game due to influenza and replaces opener Shemroy Barrington in the 13 man squad which travels to Berbice for the 10th round game. The squad read:- Travis Dowlin (Captain), Christopher Barnwell, Leon Johnson, Narsingh Deonarine, Assaad Fudadin, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Gajanand Singh, Royston Crandon, Derwin Christian, Steven Jacobs, Veerasammy Permaul, Brandon Bess, Trevon Garraway, Carl Moore (Manager), R. Seeram (Coach).
