Rose Hall Canje and Scotsburg will clash in the lone semi-final of the Gilgeous Pawn Shop twenty20 cricket competition today at the Canje ground. The winner of this match will face off with Rose Hall Town Pepsi in the final.
In booking their semi-final spot, Rose Hall Canje (RHC) got past Canje by 8 wickets. Batting first, Canje were limited to 110-8 off their overs. Tregon Henry (17) and Steven DeFreitas (13) were the principal contributors.
Odesh Imrit was the leading bowler 3-15 with good support from Vedish Singh 2-13 for RHC who struggled in reply and at one time were 39-2 from 10 overs before a match saving unbroken 3rd wicket partnership of 83 between Vedish Singh 44 and Suresh Gopaul 41 that took their team to victory.
Singh hit 4 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. RHC ended on 112-2 with 1.2 overs to spare.
