Time to tackle the filthy state of G/town

Dear Editor,
As a tourism advocate, I continue to see the filth that is accumulated around the city; and it is my wish that we make an effort, as responsible citizens, to maintain a clean and healthy environment, for the benefits are for all of us.

The Indian Commemoration Site just opposite the St. Roses High School serves no purpose, as I see it, and it should be relocated to a more manageable site. One that comes to mind is the Promenade Gardens. The site in question can be used as a playground for the primary school students nearby, or be transformed into an extension of one of the overpopulated schools in the neighbourhood.

Others might need to share their opinions on the transformation of Bourda and Kitty markets respectively. Vagrants/homeless are another issue which needs serious attention, and the ministry responsible needs to be very proactive in addressing this situation.
