Medical examination shows teenager is sexually active
…‘Bathroom Crapaud’ in police custody
A medical examination conducted on the Grove teenager who reportedly has been living with a 31-year-old man yesterday confirmed that she is indeed sexually active.
The medical examination also revealed that the 13-year-old also has ‘a vaginal infection.’
On Thursday last, the teenager was taken into protective custody by the Childcare Protection Agency.
The officers from the Ministry of Human Services swooped down on the girl’s home after the allegations had been reported.
The girl reportedly informed the officers that her father would allow the 31-year-old man, called ‘Bathroom Crapaud’ to come to the house to spend the night in her room for sex. This has reportedly been ongoing for the past year.
The neighbours have reportedly accused the man of prostituting his daughters.
Following the intervention by the Human Services Ministry, community leader Randolph Pereira came forward saying that he was offered money on two occasions not to report the matter between the teen and the man known as ‘Bathroom Crapaud.’
Pereira said that when he learnt of what was going on in the home, he warned the couple to desist from their actions or he would lodge a complaint with the relevant authorities.
He said that he had even spoken to the young girl by herself, who admitted to the relationship but said that she could not stop because her father would put her out of the home.
He said he was then offered $100,000 by the 31-year-old man to keep his mouth shut.
Following the article in Sunday’s edition of the Kaieteur News, Pereira said, he was again offered $100,000 for his silence in the future. He said that he declined both offers.
‘Bathroom Crapaud’ was taken into custody, was released on station bail, and was yesterday taken into custody again.
