Guyana’s most dominant female distance athlete, Alika Morgan extended the joy she felt when she recorded her most dominant year ever in 2008 to the children of the Red Cross Home among others last weekend.
Morgan, who literally won or got on pole in everything she competed in, both locally and internationally this year, said she wanted the children to know what it is to be winner by handing out gifts personally.
The top athlete said that the gesture felt good and she was happy to give back ahead of a more demanding season next year that brings her focus to the Junior Carifta and inaugural Caribbean Games.
