The Berbice Final of the national Neal and Massy First division 40-over Cricket Competition between Bermine and Young Warriors which was washed out last Saturday will be re-played from 11:00hrs today at the Cumberland Ground in Canje.
Regardless of today’s result, Young Warriors, who defeated Port Mourant, and Bermine, who beat Albion in the semi-finals, will both qualify for the National Semi-finals and the Umpires for today’s County final are Dhierandranauth Somwaru and Clement Brusch.
An Entrance fee of $200 will be charged fans will look forward to see players like national under-19 skipper Eugene La Fleur, Maxie De Jonge, Kellon Henry, Devon Clements, Andrew Williams and Steven Latcha for Bermine along with Paul Wintz, Richard Ramdeen, Gajanand Singh, Seon Hetymer and the big hitting Rudolph Baker for Young Warriors.
Meanwhile, the winner of today’s game will take on the Demerara Zone runners-up Mavericks at Blairmont in the second national semi-final at Blairmont from 10:00hrs tomorrow.
