The Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) of Guyana 10 overs Inter-Jamaat Tapeball round-robin cricket competition sponsored by Trophy Stall continued last weekend with victories for Windsor Forest, Farm and Lusignan at the MYO ground, Woolford venue.
Farm B took to the crease first against Windsor Forest and mustered 69-7 with Intikhab Mohamed top scoring with 26.
Muhammad Nizamudeen with 2 wickets and one each for Abraham Nizamudeen, Ahmad Nizamudeen and Shafeul Hack shared the scalps for Windsor Forest who made heavy work of reaching the target at 74-7.
Imtiaz Hack made 22 and Zaheed Mohammed 16. Farm B were in higher spirits in their clash against Queenstown, they lashed their way to 105-9 led by Asif Mohammed with a composed 30, Hakeem Khan supported with 19.
Majeed Khan picked 2-20 for Queenstown who were restricted to 66-6. Imran Ally was the only batsman to offer any resistance with 34. The main wrecker with the ball was Mark Khan with 3-8.
Lusignan were winners over New Mosque B via the walk over route. Three matches are slated for Friday while 4 will be played on Sunday.
Friday matches will see New Mosque A tackling Farm B from 09:00hrs. From 14:00hrs, New Mosque B play Farm A and from 15:45hrs, LBI oppose Corneila Ida.
On Sunday from 09:00hrs, Lusignan come up against Grove who will be in action again against Meten-Meer-Zorg 2 hours later.
Hustlers too will place back to back, first against Lusignan from 13:00hrs then against Triumph from 15:00hrs.
