Members of the Aircraft Owners’ Association of Guyana (AOAG) has re-elected Michael Correia (Jr), of Trans Guyana Airways, as President of that body.
According to the AOAG, their Annual General Meeting was held on Friday last where a new Executive Committee was elected.
Anthony Mekdeci, AA, representative of Ogle Airport Inc., was re-elected 1st Vice President and will also serve as Treasurer.
Ronald Reece, of Wings Aviation Limited, will hold the 2nd Vice President post while Mazahar Ally of Air Services Limited was elected Director and Fazil Khan of Air Services Limited re-elected Director.
Meanwhile, members were also elected to the Art Williams & Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School with Mekdeci as the Chairman. Reece will be the Vice Chairman of the Technical Committee while Mekdeci will be that committee’s Chairman.
In the Search & Rescue & Emergency Response Committee, Khan will be carrying out the duties of Vice Chairman with Reece and Ally holding the Director and Deputy Director posts respectively.
