The Guyana Lawn Tennis Association, P&P Insurance Brokers sponsored Tennis camp will commence tomorrow at the Le Meridien Pegasus Hotel courts starting from 8:00am.
Two sessions will be conducted each day for the two week programme, which run until Friday July 11, breaks for the weekend and resumes on Monday July 14 to Friday 18. The sessions run from 8:00am to 10:00am targeting 6 – 10 year old participants, while the second from 11:00am to 1:00pm is for 11 – 18 year olds.
The deadline for entries to the camp close today and contact can be made with Coach Shelly Daly at telephone 642-5672 and 227-7735 or the GLTA Secretary on 626-7987 or email – [email protected].
Interested persons are asked to complete their registration early and to arrange payment of fees ($1,000) by 7:30am tomorrow to facilitate a prompt 8:00am start of the opening ceremony.
The sessions will see the participants being taken through fitness drills, mini-tennis lessons, full court drills and other fun activities to aid their improvement and learning of tennis.
